Meet the Characters
Betty Fourré Schwartz
Betty becomes "Miriam Elisheva Gold" and sports a blonde wig as she takes on the identity of Mack's late wife Miri. She must adjust to life in a whole new culture.
Maccabee Schwartz
Starting to grow a beard, Mack Schwartz becomes "Michael Gold" as he and Betty enter witness relocation. It's crucial for their family that their identities remain a secret.
Woodrow Everett
FBI Special Agent Woody Everett is Mack's old high school friend and college roommate. He is in charge of Betty and Mack's witness relocation case.
The Kerrings
Dr. Kenneth Kerring with his son Dr. Robert Kerring. When Betty leaves, the close father and son become more distant, and only Betty can get them back together.
Esther Silverstein
Rebbetzin Esther Silverstein befriends Betty, who is known to her as Miriam Elisheva, and after a brilliant suggestion, encourages her to become a professional matchmaker.
Rabbi Fishel Silverstein
Rabbi Fishel Silverstein oversees a Modern Orthodox congregation and has a radio show once a month. He does his best to help the Schwartz family.
Rabbi Levi Hadad
Rabbi Levi Hadad is an Israeli rav, who immediately recognizes Betty from a dream he had. The second judge of the tribunal, he advocates for Betty and Mack.
Rabbi Zalman Ungar
Rabbi Zalman Ungar is a judge on the local tribunal who is determined to vote against Betty being part of the community. He is as challenging as the New York Supreme Court.
Liora Schwartz
Mack's mother Mrs. Liora Schwartz will always offer you her special tea and cookies as soon as you come in the door. Few people are as hospitable as she is.
Leah Kleinman
Leah is as sweet and docile as they come. She strives to be the perfect wife and mother, yet somehow always falls short in her husband Boruch's eyes.
Dovid Kleinman
Leah's son Dovid, who first meets Betty at age seven. She notices Dovid holds his arm unusually, so she scans it with her X-Ray spectrum of light, and sees it is broken.
Boruch Kleinman
Boruch tries to appear to be the most religious and knowledgeable person in the room. Although he is thought highly of by many people, appearances can be deceiving.
Dr. Kelly Carvey
Dr. Kelly Carvey in the lab of the Caring Corp. Skin Division prior to her coworker framing her and causing her to get fired. This foils Dr. Robert Kerring's future plans.
Reuven Myers
Nurse Reuven Myers worked at Caring Corp. and later their home health care division "We Care 4U". He relocated to Brooklyn to marry his future wife Hannah.
Hannah Myers
Hannah poses on her wedding day, as she is about to marry handsome Nurse Reuven Myers. They would later go on to have five children together.
The Kitchen Ladies
Rebbetzin Esther's regular kitchen helpers, from left to right, head cook Rina, Tovah, Sharona, and Tamar. They are amazed at Betty's cooking skills.
Zevulun Silverstein
Zevy shown here at 10, is a bookworm. He is infatuated with the tough but feminine Malka Schwartz, who barely notices him. Things may change as they get older.
Devorah Everett
Devorah Everett is Woody's only child after a long wait of finding the right woman. Pictured here at 9, she will become an Investigative Assistant when she grows up.
Moshe Schwartz
At 10, Moshe poses in his magician's outfit. He and his twin sister Malka will eventually entertain people together as the "Incredible Schwartz Twins".
Malka Schwartz
At age 10, Malka poses in her first Karate outfit. She will keep training and become a master, teaching young girls the art of how to defend themselves.
Kippie McKinley
Kippie is an author who moves next door to the Schwartz family. She is very talkative and on the nosy side, although she prefers to be called "inquisitive".
Rabbi Daniel Silverstein
Rabbi Fishel Silverstein's father Daniel will come to visit at the twins' 8th birthday party. Little did anyone know at the time, but he would become more important in the future.
Mr. Lloyd Wentworth
Reuven caring for Mr. Wentworth when his bed has been relocated into the study of his Victorian mansion. Both coming from the UK, they became close friends.
Lewis Wentworth
Lloyd's oldest grandson, Lewis Wentworth. Lloyd's son Llewelyn had previously married the company secretary Sonya. Lewis was a family secret for decades.
Cecil Wentworth
Cecil is Llewelyn Wentworth's younger son, who's parents married due to a business merger. Lloyd had hired Reuven to care for Martha, Cecil's mother when she got cancer.
Patsy & Reba Smitts
Cecil's girlfriend Patsy gets a lecture from her sister Reba when she comes to visit. Little did Patsy know she was being used to cover over a crime.
Sugar
Sugar Schwartz is instrumental in Moshe and Malka's discovery of who Betty really is. Due to Sugar's intervention, the Schwartz family would never be the same again.
Crackers
Crackers Everett is instrumental in Woody and Betty solving the Wentworth case. Due to his intervention, the Schwartz and Everett families will eventually get a new career.

Purim Day: The Schwartz Family
"Betty Ross" and "Mack Revere" arrive at the Silverstein home in their costumes to attend the festive Purim meal. Little did they know the twins would be arriving in a few hours
Purim Day: The Party
A drunken Woody at the Silverstein party in his escaped convict costume sits at the table. By the end of the meal, he is juggling oranges and his Styrofoam ball.
Purim at the Hospital
Esther attempts to visit Betty after she gives birth. After "Pirate Silverstein" hands his sword to her, Esther enters a room saying, "The party is over, we have come for you!"
The Birth of the Twins
After being rushed to Caring Corp. by the FBI van arranged by Woody, the Kerrings perform the procedure to remove the ectogenesis pod and the babies will be born!
